1. Yahoo's continuous data leakage
Yahoo in 2016 is considered the leader in the largest data leakage history. Within a short span of time, Yahoo has twice reported hacker data infiltration, affecting more than 500 million accounts and one billion Yahoo users, including information such as account name, email address, phone number, date of birth, password, security question and answer.

2. Hillary Clinton's email leak
More than 20,000 emails and thousands of attachments have been leaked from the Democratic National Committee during Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.
Data released by the Guccifer 2.0 hacking group led to the resignation of DNC president Debbie Wasserman Schultz and was one of the reasons Hillary Clinton plunged into the US presidential race.
3. Tumblr
Millions of emails including the address and password were stolen from Tumblr in 2013 abruptly appearing on black sites this year. A total of around 65,469,298 passwords were sold for only £ 102.
